We suggest you continue and follow the red & white markings from Conques to Cahors. From Roueurgue to Quercy. A route dotted with local curiosities, low walls, dolmens and beautiful encounters!

Welcome to Conques, a magnificent village in Rouergue in Aveyron. Discover its center and the magnificent Sainte-Foy Abbey.
Let's go for the recovery on the way to Compostela! How good it is to take the camino again, to leave Conques which still offers us magnificent views of its city. The recovery is demanding since you begin your journey with a climb to reach the Sainte-Foy chapel. Then dive towards the city of Decazeville.
En poursuivant le chemin vous atteignez le village de Montredon où l'itinéraire maintenant tranquillement en direction de la vallée du Célé (vue sur le lac d'Enguirande) et de Figeac, votre étape.

You can breathe a little today even if once again the day begins with a nice climb. The route settles down and takes you to the very beautiful village of Faycelles. Your path continues on a small road to reach the Mas de la Croix near the village of Béduer. Further on, continuing on the GR 65, you will reach the small village of Gréalou.
A new small step today to reach Cajarc.
The opportunity to walk and discover the dolmens of Pech Laglayre. Continuing quietly on the GR65 accompanied by dry stone walls, cazelle hedges, you will discover a pleasant panorama just before plunging into the Lot valley and reaching Cajarc.

Keep-on the Monts du Quercy to reach further the small and pretty village of Limogne. Discover the cazelles or the gariottes or even the Bories of the shelters without frames!
You still walk in the Causses du Quercy Natural Park and the path continues its route in the chain plantations and along the dry stone walls and dolmens. Discover magnificent villages such as Varaire, Vaylats and Bach. Welcome to the land of washhouses and the black truffle of Quercy!

The walk begins in the company of the forest and does not really cross villages but seems to avoid them... a walk in the heart of nature. Further on, you "slide" to reach the beautiful town of Cahors which punctuates your hike!
You will be picked up at 3 p.m. for a return by minibus. You will arrive in Conques at 5:30 p.m.
