Comfortable, high-quality electric bikes to make cycling a real pleasure
To offer the best, L’Autre Chemin has chosen to own and manage its fleet of electrically assisted bicycles, in particular in order to control our approach from A to Z and to have the assurance that you are riding on reliable equipment, adapted to the proposed routes. After a long study with our reference bicycle dealer, we opted for a fleet of electric bicycles type VTC – Giant Explore.

Our E-Bikes
- With a posture adapted to discovery and travel
- A Suntour NEX telescopic fork to absorb road imperfections and stay confident on natural paths
- A luggage rack to carry two panniers (supplied)
- Our bikes have wheels with a diameter of 700, providing formidable efficiency with each pedal stroke.
- Very versatile tires offering real driving pleasure on roads, tracks and also on trails
Bicycles are insured against theft and breakage through our partner TULIP.
- Our electric bikes are not suitable for rider weights over 100kg.
- Quality electric bikes, cleaned and maintained by us and our bicycle partner
- Shimano equipment for the pleasure of riding with quality equipment and smoother gear changes
- Shimano disc brakes provide safe, powerful and efficient braking even in wet conditions
- 250-watt Yamaha motors offering 5 assistance modes
- 400 to 500 watt batteries that open up significant discovery spaces
Our E-Bikes
L’Autre Chemin also offers non-electric trekking bikes from Le Puy.
In fact, some people with a “good pedal stroke” prefer to complete the routes offered by L’Autre Chemin without electric assistance.
This small fleet of complementary bikes is made up of a few hybrid bikes. We chose Rockhopper sport mountain bikes, which offer good comfort but also great strength and reliability, to which we have made a few modifications (rolling tires, luggage rack) to make them more suitable for travel.
For kids !
Because we don’t design bike travel without thinking about children, L’Autre Chemin offers 24′ Sduro Haibike electric mountain bikes with all the features of adult bikes: 3 assistance modes, same battery, same motor… Disc brakes.
For traveling with the little ones, we offer 2-seater trailers, so everyone travels safely and comfortably.

E-Bikes
Hybrid trekking bike with a 500Wh battery for smooth pedal assistance and excellent range. Features 8 speeds, disc brakes, a luggage rack, lights, and two rear panniers (please bring your own smartphone mount).

Trekking/hybrid bike suitable for all types of terrain. Features V-brakes, a luggage rack, lights, and both rear and front panniers.
