L’Autre Chemin is the electric bike trekking and travel agency of Puy-en-Velay.
We offer you itinerant trips by biking or walking on the trails of Auvergne and the Massif-Central, on back roads but also on small country roads.
Created in 2016, L’Autre Chemin is a human-sized outdoor travel agency located in Puy-en-Velay, a crossroads of great roaming, which gives us real knowledge of the paths, in particular the Way of St. James, the Stevenson Way, the Way of Saint-Régis, the Way of Saint-Guilhem or the Tour des Volcans du Velay…

With a fleet of recent electric bikes (possibility of VTC without assistance for the more athletic!) – Discover our fleet of bikes) L’Autre Chemin is a bicycle travel agency that offers you turnkey stays for solo, couple, family or friends. Discover the Mézenc, the sucs of Meygal, the Loire Sauvage but also the Ardèche Mountains, the gorges of Haut Allier, the Monts du Devès, Le Haut-Lignon, Le Puy en Velay… But also the opportunity to discover the Way of Saint-Jacques de Compostelle to Conques or Stevenson, the Canal du Midi and the Canal de Garonne but also Vendée or Guadeloupe by electric bike or by bike according to your desires! L’Autre Chemin has specially designed itineraries offering a wide variety of landscapes, traveling along small picturesque roads or accessible paths to offer you a new and real experience of discovery of the Haute-Loire where all your senses will be awakened

Your stays are based with half-board (except in special cases specified in the stay information sheets) are booked in welcoming hotels, lodges or guest houses (personal room, beds made, towels provided).

Hiking tours
Travel by walking… Walk to travel!
L’Autre Chemin offers legendary hiking trails such as the Camino de Santiago – Puy-Conques, the Stevenson Trail in full or week-long versions, the Saint-Guilhem Trail, the Tour des Monts d’Aubrac, and also the Saint-Régis Trail for those looking to get off the beaten track.
Your half-board stays (except in special cases specified in the program) are booked in welcoming hotels, lodges or guesthouses (personal room, beds made, towels provided).
For your convenience, we offer luggage transport at every stop. So you only need to travel with your day bag!
