The Saint-Guilhem-le-Désert Trail is a magnificent journey that takes you from the high plateaus of the Aubrac Regional Natural Park to the wild gorges of the Hérault Valley – a Grand Site de France.

The landscapes, both natural and heritage, are simply incredible. The vegetation, initially very “watered,” of the Aubrac region becomes very Mediterranean, and you discover the Causses de Sauveterre and Méjean, as well as the Cirque Navacelles – a Grand Site de France. You will be captivated by the vertigo of the wide open spaces. You experience the landscape, you blend into it…

The path is a bit strenuous and requires good endurance, especially during hot weather. A little storm in the Tarn, which here describes its most beautiful meanders, or a joint, becomes very enjoyable!
