After taking possession of your bikes, head off along the Puy-en-Velay cycle path, which follows a former railway line. Ride through tunnels and across a viaduct until you get to Cayres/Bouchet St Nicolas, where you will discover the jewel in the crown of the Haute-Loire's lakes: the Bouchet volcanic lake.

Ride nice tracks and small roads to cross the gorgeous forest of the Bouchet. Soon you will follow the footsteps of pilgrims on the Way of Saint-Jacques to reach Le Puy by the green valley of Dolaizon.
